Violance

In this performance, a violin is played with a rasp instead of a bow. First the strings break one after the other with a lovely clicking sound until the rasp reaches the body. The sound aesthetic changes to a tonal wooden gnawing. Piano at first, but the crescendo ends abruptly when the violin is split in two.
Pure violance!
